Pendulight, Writing In Light

The PENDULIGHT demonstrates the use of photochromic material to record movement. It is an exhibit that arouses curiosity and encourages conversation among visitors. The pendulum writes with light. The violet light comes from a laser, and the specially-coated paper responds to the light by becoming darker – for a few minutes. The Bloomfield Science Museum in Jerusalem.
